WHAT IS IN A SAMPLE KIT?

If you are reading this post, you have either ordered a sample kit, or are thinking of ordering one. If you are new to making wooden wick candles, some of the terminology .020, .030, “Original”, “Smooth”, “Dual” might be confusing, so be sure to read our blog post on Wooden Wick Types for clarification. To put it simply, just keep in mind that the decimal numbers are the thickness of the wick, and the fractions are the width of each wick.

Ok, so here is what you will receive in your sample kit:

Four of each of the following wicks all 5″ tall:

.020 Original in all widths (1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”)

.020 Smooth in all widths (1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”)

.030 Original in all widths (1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”)

.040 Original in all widths (1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”)

Dual Original 2 x .020 in all widths (1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”)

Original .020 with Original Booster 3/16″ .020 all widths (3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”)

Original .030 with Original Booster 3/16″ .020 all widths (3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”)
