Candle, Safety Tips, Wooden Wick Candle

Our Top Candle Safety Tips

I know we’ve all heard it a million times, but when it comes to safety, sometimes hearing it again certainly doesn’t hurt.

You would think it’s just plain common sense, but after years in the candle industry, you wouldn’t believe the stories we’ve heard (and even experienced). Like the woman who put a candle on the back of the toilet, directly under hanging towels. She was surprised when the towels caught fire!

How about the gentleman who left a candle burning overnight on his wood desk and was upset that it scorched the desk; and another woman who put a candle on a windowsill with the breeze blowing...needless to say, those curtains went up in flames!

Trust us, the list goes on and on. Luckily, in all of these situations, no one was hurt, but candle safety is of utmost importance!

Simple common sense and following the warnings that we have all heard countless times would have prevented all of the mentioned situations.
